“We stumbled across Sandy Toes Stays at short notice as we had to cancel a holiday to France. We were not disappointed. We stayed a Drym House which sits in lovely gardens and we were lucky enough to have good weather so we made good use of the great outdoor seating spaces. There is also a stylish wood fired hot tub. “I cannot recommend Sandy Toes enough. The original property I booked for had to cancel at quite short notice due to essential maintenance so Sandy Toes stepped in and let me know what other properties were available for our dates and went out of their way to help.

We booked for Nancy’s Cottage and whilst we were travelling down, we were called by Lisa to advise that the property was ready and we could go in straight away when we arrived, which was ahead of schedule and a welcome relief after a long drive.

We had a bottle of wine and some Cornish biscuits on arrival.

We had a small issue whilst in the cottage but Sandy Toes were fantastic, really helpful and reassured us immediately.

It seems like nothing is too much trouble for Sandy Toes and they provide a brilliant service for their customers, particularly Lisa who we dealt with.

“We had a lovely stay at Gwel Bre. Found this place by accident after being let down by a big booking company. Apparently, a huge scale of building work appearing ‘suddenly’ at the back of the property with noise lol.

Being let down and in a little of a panic mode, we found Sandy Toes and decided to give them a call. Lisa was very nice and understanding of our situation and that we needed a place for a week with our dogs. With her professionalism, we decided to make the booking during our first conversation. So glad we did.

Upon arrival, we were very pleased with the accommodation as it had a high standards (I am an ex hotelier) of cleanliness. The surrounding areas were so quiet and that I had a really good sleep(all nights) without any sleeping aid. Unfortunately, we had to leave after the fourth night as we had a family emergency back in London.

We apologised to them as when we were rushing and did left some mess behind. They were so compassionate of our situation and we were expecting some amount deducted from our deposit. However, our deposit were returned in full just a few days after leaving the property.
